“Tell me your story”
stories about the lockdown
virtual exhibition
Personal experiences often feel closer and more significant than news stories and statistics. This exhibition presents stories that people living in Estonia told about the emergency in the spring of 2020.
The people interviewed are of different ages and occupations; some were born in Estonia; others came here to work or study. All tell how they lived through this time, what they thought about, and what they noticed.
The project was filmed in the spring, right after most restrictions were lifted, but is still relevant: daily life has still not returned to normal; the COVID-19 pandemic is still affecting our lives.
The participants' stories show different views of what went on and different ways they maintained balance in a difficult situation.
